Maddi Mays is a Houston-raised, Los Angeles-based comedian, writer, actor, and artist.
She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design & Production from the California Institute of the Arts in 2021 and received improvisational training from the Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB).
Maddi has performed at top comedy venues across the country, including The Comedy Store, Laugh Factory, The Improv comedy clubs, Comedy Mothership, Zanies, Cobb’s Comedy Club, Punchline, and many more. She was a featured comedian on Freddie Gibbs’ “Cokane Comedy” at the 2024 Netflix Is a Joke Festival at the Hollywood Palladium. She has toured with Kam Patterson and opened for renowned comedians such as Marlon Wayans, Sam Jay, and Ken Flores.
Her original artwork has been licensed and featured throughout every episode of HBO’s PAUSE with Sam Jay.
Maddi’s work—both comedic and visual—fearlessly dives into themes of societal norms, identity, and femininity. With a unique voice and keen artistic sensibility, she is passionate about creating work that challenges perspectives while capturing the subtle nuances of life.
